The Alyeska Resort is one of those ski resorts that could be described as nothing short of world-class. It has 68 trails and over the 1,400 acres of ski-worthy area that also incidentally plays home to two certified downhill courses (certified by the International Ski Federation). Alyeska is also ideal for a family vacation, as there is a fair mix of trails that are easy enough for novices and that are challenging enough for more experienced skiers.
